Guidelines for Support of
Mennonite Education
Blossom Hill Mennonite Church (BHMC) is committed to subsidize the cost of Mennonite education at all levels for its members and/or their children.
The education institution must be related to the Mennonite Education Agency (MEA) of Mennonite Church USA.
The student or one of their parents must be a member of BHMC.
Scholarships are awardedbased on request not need.
Scholarships will be disbursed at regular intervals as determined by the institutions'requestsfor payment.
Monies in the Scholarship Fund will accumulate year to year.
Grades K thru 8:Up to$500 per year
Grade 9 thru 12:Up to$1000 per year
College/University Undergraduate:Up to$2500 per FTE Semester (prorated)
Graduate/Seminary:Up to$1000 per FTE Semester (prorated)
BHMC will include "Mennonite Education Scholarships" in its annual financial planning including identified offering requests.
Special requests outside the above guidelines (i.e. level of need, school not part of MEA, etc.) can be submitted to the BHMC scholarship committee (presently Administrative Team).
These guidelines will be reviewed in 3 years (2009).
