Pastoral Team Minutes
Devotions: Michelle used Psalm 19:14 in a time of meditation
and led in prayer.
1.
The
June minutes were reviewed and the
following updates were given:
Announcement change – Beginning July 20 people
who have announcements will come forward to a front mic to give them. People are encouraged to be concise in their
announcements.
Worship leaders will be responsible for
letting ushers know which hymnals are needed for the service.
For safety reasons we are working on
implementing a no running policy in the building.

Aug. 3 Dawn Yoder Harms will preach.
Jane returns August 3.

Bible
school
The week will close with a lunch on Thursday
for the children and their families.
Next year the committee may look at an evening
Bible school.
4.
Lancaster
Conference update- a recent letter was shared from the Bishop Board regarding
the Bishop Board’s response to Linford King’s actions in ordaining two female
pastors.
5. Follow-up with new attendees was discussed.
6.
Pastoral
care updates were given.
7.
Commissioning
services for Verle, the Longenecker family,
and the Linder Miller family were discussed.
8.
It was noted lights have been left on the past
several Sundays after the church has been locked. Mamo will contact those who lock up to remind
them which lights need to be turned off.
9. A reminder will be put in the bulletin that Administrative team and Pastoral team minutes are available on the church website or by request for a paper copy.
